This project involves a detailed analysis of the Disney+ Hotstar content catalog. The dashboard highlights the platform's focus on family-friendly content and its expansion into regional markets.
The Challenge
Disney+ Hotstar has a unique mix of international hits and local Indian content. The challenge was to visualize how these two segments perform and interact, and to identify which genres drive the most engagement.
The Solution
I designed a dashboard that segments content by origin (International vs. Local), genre, and language. This allows stakeholders to see the strength of their regional content strategy.

- Release Year Trends: Line chart showing movies and TV shows added over time (from 1960 to 2023).
- Movies vs TV Shows: Donut chart comparing TV vs Movies (TV shows being the majority).
- Genre Breakdown: Bar chart showing the top genres (Drama, Comedy, Romance, Action, Reality, Thriller, Family, Animation, Documentary, Sport, Animals & Nature).
- Ratings Analysis: Chart showing ratings distribution (U/A 13+, U, U/A 16+, A, PG etc.).
- Total Titles: Shows total titles count (1234).
