Role

Business Analyst

Worked across analysis specification, system modelling, and prototype direction.

Context

50-branch fitness provider

Focused on improving member, instructor, inventory, and process management at scale.

Focus

Structure before build

Made the target solution clearer through analysis artefacts and design support.

Outputs

Models, requirements, prototype

Produced UML views, requirements, and prototype support.

Health Farm needed clearer system support across scheduling, inventory, and customer interaction. The work focused on defining how a modernised system should operate before build.

The main BA task was to define the target process and system behaviour clearly enough to reduce ambiguity before development started.

Analysis and delivery work

  • Defined functional and non-functional requirements from the case and stakeholder perspective.
  • Produced analysis artefacts to describe the business problem and proposed system direction.
  • Built UML views including use case, activity, and system-flow logic.
  • Created prototype support for booking and instructor-search interactions.
  • Presented the analysis rationale and design choices in a stakeholder-style review.

Prototype evidence

Screen-level output used to validate how requirements translate into an interface.

Health Farm shows structured systems analysis: define the business need, model the target behaviour, and connect those artefacts to a user-facing prototype.
